Well by now we know that what the world thought would be the iPhone 5 turned out to be the iPhone 4S. Not so much a disappointment, but certainly a delay of hyped technology that everyone here is certainly waiting to see firsthand. So just when we thought the anticipation could not build any higher, we are only a few short months away from the iPhone 5 release date once again.
There have been quite a few rumors floating around about the actual release date. The one that makes the most sense it seems is that the new iPhone 5 will follow in the footsteps of the iPhone 4S, with a release sometime in the Autumn. But according to other sources the release could be as early as the summer of 2012.
With rumors regarding the iPhone 5 flying in every direction it will be tough to pinpoint the exact date unless we get a big leak from an even bigger source. At this point there is one source reporting that a leaked calendar of the Worldwide Developer’s Conference (WWDC) that shows a corporate meeting that takes place between June 11th and June 15th. It is known that all iPhone models aside from the 4S have been unveiled at the WWDC but a release date would certainly then be later in the year. Will be get to see the iPhone 5 as early as June?
Either way we are really hoping that we will be able to get a look at the iPhone 5 this summer and have it in our hands before the end of the year. It will be very interesting to see what new technologies will be employed in the device and which off all the rumors yet to come this year actually come true.
